Family, Children & Maternity Sessions

What's included? All sessions are fully inclusive & include all digital images & print release.

What do I wear? Solids are always good, when picking outfits don't match everything.

Where will the session take place? My studio is located in Asbury near the schools. For outdoor, I have a few suggestions but am open to new ideas as well. There is a small travel fee outside of Dubuque city limits.

What if it rains or an emergency occurs? I am very flexible. Rescheduling a session is not an issue, just keep me updated.

What happens after our session? Following your session I will have your images ready within 4 weeks. You will receive an online link to your session where you are able to download your photos high resolution. CDs available upon request.

What will I receive? You will receive an e-mail or message with your download link where you can download all of your edited images high resolution, I can also make a flash drive if you prefer.

What if my kids aren't cooperating? Don't sweat it! Kids have a mind of their own, we will do everything we can to get some good ones. If they want nothing to do with it, we will get some lifestyle ones to capture the moments & have fun.

Details:

Newborn Sessions: All sessions are fully inclusive, they include all fully edited digital images & print release. You are welcome to bring any props you would like, but you are not required to bring a thing for props. Sit back and relax- we have a tv with a couch for you. You are welcome to bring snacks/lunch, take a nap or just hangout and be cozy. I have quite a few hats, props, headbands, swaddles and blankets for the newborns. You will receive a prep guide the day before that gives you tips on how to help your session go well & the necessary items to bring along.

Fresh 48 Sessions: These are hospital sessions where I come straight to your hospital room within 48 hours of birth. I capture the natural side of the baby in the first place on this earth- their birth place. Please note I do not pose baby during these short sessions. These sessions are intended to capture as much as I can about baby, you will be surprised how much they change within the first couple weeks!

Birth Sessions: There are SO many emotions that come along with birth sessions and honestly that is what makes it so special! During these sessions we keep in contact regarding your appointments to keep me in the loop and once you are in labor I come up around 6-8cm (depending on how fast you are progressing). I capture details of your labor and your new baby. I stay for about an hour after birth to capture all of the details of baby. Please note: there are certain things the hospital requires not to be photographed so I obey their wishes. Also, meeting of the siblings and other family members would be within the Fresh 48 sessions, not the birth sessions. Most photos will be in black and white and I can also create a keepsake slideshow at no additional cost.
